After addressing the product development cycle you will learn a key product skill called User Experience (UX). This entails learning how to optimise user needs with your software feature, the various metrics to track it's success and how to build in effective feedback loops.

Software Development

After addressing the project requirements and User Experience (UX), work on developing the key features of the overall product. Basic coding will be required - students who haven't coded before are required to partake in the pre-requisite Introduction to coding course in the first week of the program.

4-week roadmap to define each stage of a virtual work-experience program.

4-week roadmap to define each stage of a

virtual work-experience program.

Week 1

Orientation Week

Get introduced to the program, your mentors and Salesforce. You will learn how a tech company operates and begin preliminary research on the program project.

Week 2

Competence Week

You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.

Week 3

Development Week

You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge onto the project and working as a team is the focus.

Week 4

Pitch Week

In your final week you will submit your project for mentor feedback. In the final night you will pitch your project and findings to representatives and upon completion, receive a referral letter.

Week 1
