Andrea is a Lecturer in Thermofluids at Imperial College London and a Bye-Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. He earned his PhD in 2014 from the University of Florence, focusing on clean engines for airplanes, and later became a Rolls-Royce Research Associate at Cambridge. Since 2018, he has been a Lecturer at Imperial and also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Spray and Combustion Dynamics. His research centers on sustainability and multiphase flows, especially electromagnetic interactions in nanofluids. Current projects include studies on soap bubbles, wildfires, noise propagation, and zero-carbon propulsion systems.
Mario is Senior Lead of Revenue Operations at Brex, specializing in financial analysis and operational strategy. He holds a Master’s in Finance from Dom Cabral Foundation and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Pernambuco. His past roles include Senior Analyst at Vale, Associate at PwC, and President of FCAP Jr. Consultoria. Skilled in project management, negotiation, and analytics, he is certified in Valuation Analysis and advanced in Power BI and Alteryx. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and intermediate Spanish.
Takudzwa Caitano graduated from Stanford with Honors in Econometrics & Quantitative Economics. He gained experience at Morgan Stanley, Google, and Bain & Company, developing expertise in financial analysis, product management, and consulting. At LionTree, he contributed to major M&A deals, including the MGM-Amazon merger. Returning to Bain, he supported growth strategies for private equity and tech clients. Now, he leads Qqura AI, a startup transforming customer support with AI. He also mentors students aiming for top global universities, driven by his passion for technology, education, and social impact.
Utkarsh earned his Bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2018, completing two internships at Microsoft on Cortana. He later joined Microsoft full-time, contributing to MSAI and Bing Enterprise, where his work powered up to 1.5 billion daily requests. In 2020, he began a Master’s in Computer Science at UPenn, focusing on Distributed Systems and Machine Learning. He served as a TA for a graduate ML course and conducted research on robotics, Bayesian Optimization, and adversarial attacks in reinforcement learning. After graduating, Utkarsh joined Outerbounds in 2022, building ML infrastructure for data science projects.
For over a decade, Rutaban has worked in Australian non-profit organisations at the intersection of research, policy, and advocacy in refugee law, migration, and human rights. She has held roles at the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law, Diplomacy Training Program, Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, and Asylum Insight. Currently, she is a PhD Affiliate at UNSW Law & Justice, researching Bangladesh’s response to Rohingya refugees and the role of non-signatory states in international law. An Australian lawyer, she holds a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne, specialising in human rights and public international law. Rutaban is deeply committed to advancing refugee and human rights scholarship and practice.
Ian is a Software Engineer based in Auckland, New Zealand. He currently works at Amazon Web Services, building large-scale data systems to support customers in the energy sector. His work focuses on delivering reliable and scalable solutions that help utility providers operate more efficiently. With over 7 years of experience, Ian has also held engineering roles at Lightspeed Commerce and Verizon Connect, contributing to impactful software projects and leading cross-functional teams. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Auckland. Ian primarily works with Java, Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript, and is highly experienced with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, and more.
Rahul is a Deep Learning Engineer at Canva who utilizes his passion for AI to build novel algorithms for image generation and editing. His focus lies on exploiting the capabilities of large language models, diffusion models, and other generative AI techniques and improving the efficiency of current training methods. Before his role at Canva, Rahul was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence (IARAI) in Vienna, under the mentorship of Prof. Sepp Hochreiter. During this period, he worked on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), a field that focuses on training AIs through positive and negative reinforcement to excel in games or perform physical tasks.
Sahib Singh is an accomplished ML Engineer with a Master's degree in Information Systems (Machine Learning Track) from Carnegie Mellon University. With over 7 years of experience, Sahib has focused his expertise on building scalable AI software, particularly in the realm of Large Language Models (LLMs). He has held key roles at prominent companies such as Ford Motor Company, Google, and Niki.ai, contributing to groundbreaking projects in machine learning and natural language processing.
Mansi is a researcher at Microsoft on the PROSE team. A graduate of IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (specializing in AI), she has worked on multiple research projects and startup internships, and has published papers at top AI conferences including AAAI, EMNLP, and ACL.
Govind Prabhu is a Senior Software ML Engineer at Microsoft with over 10 years of industry experience. For the past 5 years, he has specialized in AI and ML, focusing on model training and inferencing.
Parag is a Software Developer and Yale-NUS graduate with experience in front-end applications across e-commerce, gaming, and fintech. Founder of YNC_Hacks, he has long been passionate about teaching students to code. At Crimson Education, he has taught Python, C, data science, AI, web development, and Unity game design over the past two years. He brings the same enthusiasm to making complex technical concepts easy and accessible.
Guan is a UI/UX designer passionate about building user-friendly mobile and web apps tailored to audience needs. He graduated from UC Davis with a 3.95 GPA in design and discovered his career path through a college UX design program that connected him with inspiring mentors. Now, he looks forward to mentoring the next generation of designers, hoping to inspire them as he was once inspired. Outside of design, Guan is an avid basketball fan who enjoys playing the sport and spending time with friends.
